Olympic Subsea have a good track record in undertaking cable installations and cable repair. Several of our vessels can be converted for cable work. All our vessels are equipped with DP 2 and Hipap and all of our vessels can be equipped with ROV which pinpoint the exact location of the ship in the mid-ocean and lay underwater cable line appropriately
Olympic Subsea`s vessel have accommodation capacity for 40-150 people and offer high quality facilities like conference room, catering, storage, workshops, offices and fitness area. Our vessels can be equipped with boat landing and/or gangway system, for safe transfer of personnel from the vessel to the offshore installations.
Olympic Subsea offers various ROV services, using work ROVs or observation ROVs, depending on the mission and the equipment. Several vessels in our fleet have extensive ROV experience.
The offshore wind sector is growing and is a large and increasing market for operations & maintenance (O&M) services. Olympic Subsea can provide offshore base, access to offshore substations for small repairs, bring components from shore to the turbines, accommodate engineers for turbine maintenance and offshore substation maintenance.
We have broad experience in investigation and clearance of unexploded ordnance (UXO). We can offer surveys using ROV, where the ROV can be fitted with additional equipment.
Olympic Subsea offers underwater seabed levelling with the use of excavators. We are happy to document positive feedback from customers upon request.
Olympic Subsea have experience with cable protection; survey, mass flow excavation and matressing. Several of our vessels are rigged and manned for this kind of work, using cranes and ROVs.
Olympic Subsea offers vessels with excellent seakeeping abilities, which makes it possible to work in challenging environmental conditions with strong tidal currents. We can refer to several projects, including installations of tidal turbines with heavy lifts up to 250 tonnes, and installation of WaveEL with dimensions of 8 metres in diameter and a length of 40 m.
