Olympic is proud to announce the addition of the Construction Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) Olympic Notos to its fleet. As one of the most energy-efficient vessels in the industry, the Olympic Notos reflects Olympic’s commitment to sustainable offshore operations, setting high standards in efficiency, safety, and environmental responsibility.
"At Olympic, we are fully committed to meeting the climate goals set out in the Paris Agreement, and the Olympic Notos is a vital step in that direction," says Stig Remøy, CEO of Olympic. "This vessel showcases our dedication to reducing emissions and promoting sustainability through cutting-edge technology and innovative design. The Olympic Notos was developed in close partnership with Ulstein, incorporating the TWIN X-STERN® design and hybrid power solutions to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. This innovative design enhances operability and stability, allowing Olympic’s clients to rely on safer and more efficient service in demanding offshore conditions.
Built for Operational Excellence and Crew Comfort
From the start, the Olympic Notos was crafted to optimize comfort for crew and clients alike, creating a working environment that supports well-being during extended missions. Spacious common areas, quieter quarters, and high stability levels contribute to a comfortable environment that promotes both safety and performance.
In addition to its fuel-saving features, the Olympic Notos is equipped with a comprehensive energy recovery system, integrating battery storage, variable-speed generators, and heat recovery. This system supports Olympic’s goal to reduce the vessel’s environmental footprint, in line with its commitment to sustainable progress in the offshore sector.
The Olympic Notos, together with her sister vessel, Olympic Boreas, represents Olympic’s dedication to advancing CSOV efficiency, performance, and environmental care.
