Stig Remøy (b. 1959), Chairman.

Established Olympic Shipping AS in 1996 together with Bjørn Kvalsund. He is the major shareholder and chairman of the board for Olympic Ship AS and CEO of Olympic Shipping AS. Stig is a Master Mariner, graduated from Kristiansand Maritime College and has 15 years of experience as Master on fishing and offshore vessels. Stig has also held board positions with a regional bank and other regional and national enterprises. Ernst and Young awarded him national Entrepreneur of the Year in 2002.

Anders Almestad (b. 1961), Director

Anders Almestad is an engineer with a Master of Business and Administration Degree from the University of Hull in England. He has completed several high standard executive management courses. He has more than 30 years of working experience in the marine industry and started his career at Ulstein International AS. From 1994 he had various executive roles in Asia and USA within the Ulstein Group. In 2001 he relocated to Norway and became President of the Global Offshore Business within Rolls-Royce. In 2008 he was appointed to an additional role in Rolls-Royce as President Marine Services and relocated to Singapore. He moved back to Norway in 2010.

In 2014, after 25 years in Ulstein and Rolls-Royce, Anders Almestad commenced as Managing Partner in his own consultancy company Octavius AS. Octavius AS delivers executive strategic advise to the marine offshore industry. Anders Almestad sits in numerous executive boards, mostly related to the marine offshore industry.

Ingvild Vartdal (b. 1968), Director

Ingvild Vardal has a law degree and has several years of experiences as corporate lawyer. She is now lawyer and partner in the law firm ADVISO Advokatfirma AS. She specializes in corporate and international tax and has extensive experience from these areas in industries like shipping, fishing and finance. Vartdal is currently, and has been, a board member in several private and public limited liability companies, including companies listed at Oslo Børs.
